Spa Etiquette

APPOINTMENTS

Demand for our spa services is high. We recommend appointments be made 4-6 weeks in advance.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so may result in a $20.00 per hour service charge. If you are running late, a phone call is always appreciated. Your arrival time will determine the length of your treatment time, which will end as scheduled, so the next guest may begin promptly. You will be charged the full amount of your originally scheduled treatment. If necessary, we will reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.

GRATUITY

Our service fee does not include gratuities. If you feel you have received excellent service and wish to give a gratuity, you may do so at your own discretion.

GROUPS

We welcome groups. For a group of 5 or more, please contact our Spa Director.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are available as an ideal, year-round gift for any occasion. They may be conveniently purchased at the spa, by email, or over the phone; and are available for any dollar amount.

SPA PRODUCTS

A variety of products are available to enhance your treatment results and continue your spa experience at home. Please ask one of our spa staff for assistance.

SPA EXPERIENCE

To make your spa experience most enjoyable, we have listed a few do's and don'ts.

  • Plan on arriving 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for check in, changing, and relaxation.
  • If you have special medical conditions or are pregnant, certain treatments are not recommended. Please notify our spa staff.
  • Many of our spa treatments utilize seaweeds. If you are allergic or sensitive to iodine, please notify our staff so we may assist you in choosing a program that is right for you.
  • In order to provide a relaxing experience for you and our other guests, we request that you turn off all cell phones, pagers and two-way radios.
  • Robes, slippers, towels and other amenities are provided for your convenience, Unless otherwise instructed, you will not need to bring special items from home. Note: if you are receiving a pedicure, you may choose to bring some open-toed shoes to wear home.
  • The client's only job is to relax as completely as possible. Remember to breathe deeply and regularly, allowing the body to become very heavy and sink into the experience. Allow the therapist to move your limbs into whatever position necessary. Don't try to be helpful. Simply receive.
